CNC machined parts
Look at how the features relate, not just the outside shape. A mounting face, bore, pocket or thread can decide the setup and the inspection plan.

For process fit, materials and inspection, see CNC machining. Critical tolerances and GD&T are covered under precision machining.
Have a machined part like these?
Metal stamped parts
For a stamped part, look at the formed shape, the functional edges and how it locates in an assembly. Similar outlines can need very different dies when thickness, springback, burr direction or annual volume changes.
For die and production decisions, see metal stamping. Lower volumes without a die go to sheet metal fabrication or laser cutting.

Formed brackets
Watch the hole position relative to the bend line, and the flatness of mounting faces after forming.
Terminals and clips
Progressive-die parts where burr direction and springback on the contact decide how the part works.
Shields and covers
Drawn or formed covers where flatness, edge condition and finish matter for assembly.
Injection molded parts
Compare wall transitions, bosses, clips, visible faces and mating features. Resin, mold layout, color standard and sample approval decide whether a similar-looking part is really comparable to yours.

The mold itself, from design review to first samples, is covered under injection mold tooling.
Most of what we make is not in any gallery
Customer drawings stay confidential, so what you see here is a small sample of part types. Send your drawing even if nothing here looks like it; Parker reviews it and suggests the route. Next: the other processes we run.
Parts from our other processes
Beyond the three core processes, we cast, fabricate, extrude, wind and print parts in the same factory.
Each process has its own page: die casting, investment casting, sheet metal fabrication, aluminum extrusion, spring manufacturing and 3D printing.
Part needs more than one process?
What each part example should tell you
An example helps you compare the right things. It does not replace a review of your own drawing.
Process and part type
Each card names the process and the part type, so you can find the route closest to your drawing.
Features to compare
The features listed are the ones that usually decide setup, tooling and inspection for that part type.
What still needs review
Tolerance, material grade, size and quantity are checked against your own drawing, not assumed from a similar part.

Parts gallery FAQ
Short answers to what buyers ask when they compare a part example with their own design.
Are the pictured parts available to buy from stock?
No. Everything we make is custom, made to a customer drawing. Send your own drawing or sample to review a similar route.
Does a similar part mean the same tolerance or material can be quoted?
No. Geometry, material grade, size, quantity and inspection requirements are checked against your own design.
Can I order a part that combines more than one process?
Yes. All production runs in our own factory, so a part that is stamped, machined and finished, or molded around a metal insert, is quoted and managed as one project.
Why don't the examples show customer names or exact tolerances?
Customer drawings stay confidential. We show part types and features, and discuss your exact requirements when you send your own drawing.
Send your drawing for a part review
Tell us which example is closest, and we review your own design against it.
